We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on Dr Brendan Ryan who has been doing weight loss surgery at Camden Surgical Hospital for over 2 years.

Dr Brendan Ryan has over 15 years of expertise in obesity and metabolic surgery. He has performed more than 5,000 weight loss procedures, with a particular focus on Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass and Revisional Bariatric surgery.
In addition, Dr Ryan also has a strong clinical interest in Anti-Reflux surgery, Hiatal Hernia Repair, and Gallbladder surgery.

We are so excited to introduce Dr Nedal Katib; Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon to the Camden Surgical Hospital team!

Dr Katib completed his Vascular Surgery training through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, which took him to South Australia, Qld, New Zealand and then returning to NSW to complete his final years of training.
He went on to have further training in minimally invasive techniques in Belgium & worked in Oxford University Hospitals gaining experience in aortic surgery. He also completed his Masters of Surgery at Sydney University.

He also holds an academic post at the University of NSW and is committed to ongoing research to improve patient outcomes.

Dr Katib believes in excellence in surgery and maintaining a patient-centred approach.

🥳 A Major Milestone for Camden Surgical Hospital! 🥳
Today, we proudly admitted our 10,000th patient - a significant achievement for our hospital, which opened its doors on 25 January 2023.
Fittingly, this milestone moment happened on Dr Paramsothy / Dr Edwin Choong’s list; the very same surgeon & anaesthetist who performed our very first surgical list!
A big THANK YOU to Rebecca, our 10,000th patient, for being such a good sport this morning - and for sharing in this special day with us.
