You’re not being lazy when you rest.
You’re recovering.
Rest isn’t passive: it’s when healing actually happens.
Even in stillness, your body’s doing the work:

💙 balancing hormones
💙 calming your nervous system
The challenge is, most of us never truly switch off.
We push through tiredness, ignore tension, and call it “normal.”
But recovery is part of progress.
The same way movement and care matter, so does rest.
Because your body can’t heal if it never pauses.
So tonight, give yourself permission to slow down.
Your body’s still working, even when you’re not.
