Try this..
Get a pen and paper and list what you feel you have been tested with in this dunya...
then go back to each one and look into it closely..
You will see it’s either to cleanse you, protect you, bring you closer to deen, to teach you humility, loyalty, dependence on allah swt alone, acknowledging the power of dua, prevention from mistakes you might have intended on making...
You will discover that all you might have thought was so challenging in your life had hidden lessons and advantages to build your personality, even sometimes it would be purely to give you something to do or look forward to.

Feelings can really overwhelm us and thoughts can affect our mood quickly sending us down a spiral of dark thoughts and further away from reality and the present moment.

Anchor yourself with your belief in your lord and that he created you and he will surely guide you,

اِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ اِلى رِبِّي سَيَهْدِيْنِي

I am going towards my Lord, He will guide me.
Sura as-Saffat, verse 99

Anchor yourself with the gentle reminder that today is yesterday’s worry and tomorrow might not be promised.

Trust in him and try to enjoy and appreciate life around you.

Make Allah your anchor.

Allowing yourself and others that are going through or have gone through a difficult situation to feel and sit with the reality of things can be very therapeutic, acceptance and compassion are really needed in order to move forward from any challenging situation or experience.

Depression, sadness, pain, misery are the result of not accepting the past

Fear, anxiety, terror, panic is the result of fearing the future

Boredom, feeling overwhelmed, restlessness are the results of not accepting where you are in the present moment

All metal health challenges fall under one thing and that’s not having acceptance, and that’s why allah says in the Quran

But no! Whoever submits themselves to Allah and does good will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.
-al baqarah 112

Submission, contentment, acceptance, practicing grounding and being of the people that do good is the answer to all our struggles.

As mentioned no fear will over come nor grieve.

We all have heard the example of the ship doesn’t sink because of the water surrounding it, it only starts to sink when the water goes in it.

Chose what goes into your mind like you chose what to wear and eat each day, we can control our thoughts, we can re-wire our brains, we can change our situation and stresses by simply changing the way we think.!
We do have control and do have choices, we just need the appropriate resources.
