Our Guest, Tida Happy Yogi , will enhance the experience with pure and magical sounds of Tibetan bowls, handpan and other instruments, supporting the body's immersion into a BLISSFUL state of deep awareness and RESTORATION.

✨ THIS HAPPENED ON SATURDAY'S CLASS ✨️ TRUE STORY 💖

At the end of the session, a student said to me

“Claudia, today’s relaxation was so good. It is always good, but this one felt particularly good”.

I replied "why do you think that is?" 🤔
But I knew exactly what had just happened 🤭

And here’s what had happened

- The physical practice did its job. When we gently and skilfully FATIGUE the body 🥵, we SOFTEN its grip. The body becomes less noisy, and we can ACCESS THE INNER SELF 🙌 the part of us that is always steady, PEACEFUL, and untouched by chaos.

- The practice ANCHORED THE MIND. When attention is absorbed in the BREATH 🌬 and moving MINDFULLY into the POSTURES, there’s no room for the usual stream of thoughts. For a moment, the mind GETS TO REST from its own CHATTER.

- The tissues were nourished. Slow, mindful stretching SIGNALS SAFETY to the NERVOUS SYSTEM🧠. The body shifts out of stress mode and into calm, allowing a deep SENSE OF EASE to rise naturally🧘‍♂️.

- And perhaps most importantly:
She needed a moment to slow down, to reconnect with herself, to simply BEING 🤍

I’m grateful I can offer a space where that becomes possible 🙏 and even more grateful for my students and their trust 💕

What looks like a physical practice is actually a DOORWAY 🚪into mental clarity, emotional release, and spiritual connection.

The body is the tool we use to travel inward.

This is Yoga 💕

Exercising the JOINTS with YIN YOGA? 🤔

Why is YIN YOGA so good for us and specially as we get older? Here is why☝️

❓️WHY SHOULD WE EXERCISE THE JOINTS?

1️⃣ To avoid DEGENERATION, which is the result of long term immobilisation

2️⃣ To reduce CONTRACTURE, which is imperceptible but always happening as we age

3️⃣To avoid fixation of the joints or ATROPHY.

4️⃣To stimulate the production of Hyaluronic Acid, which HIDRATES the tissues making them more ELASTIC and MOBILE.

❓️HOW DO WE EXERCISE THE JOINTS IN YIN YOGA?

We do so through GENTLE POSTURES, HELD for a LONG PERIOD (3-5 min) with the muscles RELAXED to target the JOINTS and the deeper connective tissues.

It is safe and beneficial if we do so in a Yin like manner, SLOWLY, GENTLY, WITHOUT FORCING. Finding and respecting our EDGE while giving the body time to soften and to trust.

❓️What is the RESULT?
With regular practice, the tissues and joints will maintain or even regain the RANGE OF MOVEMENT they had lost.

❓️Is that it?
Surprisingly, that is not it! 😱 This is only what happens at a physical level. There is so much more that happens at a physiological and energetic level. So much more!
