Sometimes Patients ask me, “Will I be dependent on my custom-made orthotics?”

The answer is “absolutely not!”

It is great to be barefoot on natural surfaces like sand. This increases the neurological feedback from foot to brain and vice verse. But when you are on man made unyielding surfaces like concrete then those that need custom-made orthotics will benefit highly from wearing them to increase their stability and prevent injury🙌
