Hi, I’m Natasha 👋🏻
Founder of *The Recollection and, most importantly, mum to a vivacious 4-year-old who somehow *always* knows when I’m trying to get something done (yes, she’s probably climbing on me while I write this 😅).

These photos? My helpful husband took them while I set up the lighting—me, tired eyes and messy curls included. Because some days I feel strong, and some days I feel like I’m running on coffee and crumbs… but all of it is worth capturing and honouring.

And that’s exactly what I do here:
✨ Help mothers embrace where they’re at — even when it feels messy or uncertain.
✨ Honour the stories that make them who they are — pregnancy, birth, identity shifts, and all those tender in-between moments.
✨ Remind them they are enough in every season of motherhood — no matter what it looks like.

Through a unique blend of occupational therapy and storytelling photography, I guide mothers in reflecting on their journey, finding new ways to cope, and celebrating their transformation into motherhood — what we call *matrescence*.

It really is not just about the baby...

The baby made you a Mother, gave you that title. But this title was only born not grown. Becoming a Mother is a growth process, a journey - it is the experience of Matrescence.

While it feels like everyone else abandons the Mother once the baby is here. You don't need to abandon yourself. Take the space and time to process this becoming and honour yourself, whatever season this new beginning finds you in. When we work together you can be an authentic Mum, you don't have to be a smiley one.
