I am excited to share my new signature program on my nana's birthday. She would have been 96 years old today and I feel her support on this special day. I think we all need a little support, connection and energy boost in life and that's why this Connect, Create and Revitalise package will really help your team's wellbeing needs.

It is a 4 week program that explores different wellbeing and connection modalities including meditation, movement, creative art, and seeing the many positive strengths within your team! This program can be set up weekly, fortnightly, monthly or discussed within a discovery call with me.

What’s your Vision Look Like?

We are just heading into May and almost halfway through 2024. It started making me think about my vision for work, family, health and my personal life this year and how I am progressing towards achieving everything I envisioned.

I participated in a vision board workshop Lane Workshops facilitated by Grainger at the beginning of the year. It was so amazing to find words and pictures that resonated with what I want to achieve in my life. The experience was truly magical and guided me to create a vision for 2024 for myself. I have learnt to trust and listen to my intuition, and it is helping me re-ignite my passion and have more joy and happiness in my life. I have started working more with children, teaching them about different types of disabilities and how we can be a more inclusive society. That we are all unique and if we are open to looking past exterior differences you can make a connection with someone who could end up being your best friend.

This year I want to help more people through my team and group workshops, to work through their feelings of disconnection, stress, anxiety, anger, sadness and overwhelm and experience more joy, fun, increased energy and feel inspired to achieve their hearts desire.

It’s a great time to reflect and look at what you are wanting more of in your life. Things don’t always go as you planned but there is a gift in working through the challenges that come up along the way as this is when you find opportunities to change, explore, reflect, and grow.

Have you set time aside to reflect on what your vision is for your life? Or do you need to make changes in your life, so you are living a more happier and fulfilled life?

I have an exciting new program I am launching soon where teams and groups can build meaningful connections with their peers, collaborate and find solutions to problems together, learn ways to calm your mind, explore the benefits movement has on your body and mind, and find inspiration through allowing yourself to let go and be creative.

Find inspiration in yourself and follow the guidance of your heart to find what lights you up.

Everyone has so much magic within them and sometimes fear can hold this back. Allow your strengths and talents be shown more in the world and trust that you have something special within you that the world, your workplace, family, friends, and community needs to see.

December can be an exciting time of year with all the lights and Christmas decorations around and end of year celebrations happening! However, it can also be stressful in the workplace with pressures to get deadlines completed before you take that long anticipated holiday you so desperately need! Our bodies start to get tired, muscle aches start to appear and our mind is full of lists of things we still need to do!

To help you to clear your mind and lower the feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and stress go outdoors to a park, beach, or even your backyard and take of your shoes and walk around on the grass, sand, water, or dirt. Slow down your pace and take several deep breathes as you walk. Allow your energy to be replenished from the gift of mother nature. You will find the next part of your day easier to manage if you can do this at least once a day!

I had a wonderful time presenting and meeting new people yesterday at the Reimagine 2023 Conference on Educator Wellbeing! Sharing tips on making time to take care of yourself and do something you love so your cup is full, you feel mentally well and are able to give and be there for the children they care for. It was fun surprising the audience with squishy ball play and explain how play dough can help them manage stress, overwhelm and anxiety throughout the day! Learning how you can use the resources around you to manage your emotions/challenges in the moment.

One of my favourite things to do for myself is to dance and create artwork afterwards.
I created a short video to show you a glimpse of my personal practice. I have made it an amateur fast motion film 😂

I love to dance as it is so freeing and limitless!! It allows me to move through my feelings and feel joy and peace afterwards.
After a short meditation I then love to express my experience through art.

This is something special I do for myself that brings me so much happiness and helps me start my day positively.

One of the things I do for myself in my self care daily routine morning and night is meditate 🧘‍♀️

I love sitting in stillness and clearing my mind. I find it helps me find clarity when I feel lost or stuck and feel calmness when I am feeling overwhelmed and anxious.

There are so many different types of meditations you can try such as concentration meditation, visualisation meditation, chanting, heart centred meditation, stillness, sound meditation, moving meditation etc.

If you haven’t experienced meditation or maybe tried one that didn’t suit you try this app Insight Timer- Meditation and try one of the many meditations on offer!

You are important and if you don’t look after your own mental health and wellbeing….who will???

I suggest you make time for yourself and do activities that bring you joy, peace, creativity, positive energy, love and a sense of purpose.

Try things you have always wanted to do or do things you love but haven’t done in a while.

If you don’t know where to start, I will give you some ideas over the week of some of the things I do in my life.

Don’t make it too complicated and start with just adding one thing to your day that will help you stay mentally well. This could be sitting in a quiet spot and meditating for 5mins a day slowing increasing the time, going for a daily walk, be creative and do some art, try completing a yoga session on YouTube, play your favourite song and dance like no one is watching, slow down by completing a moving mediation such as Qi Gong/ Tai Chi, Go to the gym or a fitness class or just laugh everyday for 1 minute!

Set time to do this activity for yourself daily and commit to it. It will only benefit you!! I usually do my activity earlier in the morning before I need to do things for my kids such as make their lunches for school or put a load of washing on before work etc. before I get too busy to do it and make excuses. We all do it, even me!!

If you can do an activity of your choice every day for as long as you have time for, I know you will feel a difference in yourself . You may even find at first you have 5 minutes to spare, however over time you start getting up earlier so you can start your activity because you are enjoying it, and you want to spend more time on it….on you 😊

This can have a ripple effect into your day, with you feeling calmer, happier and in a more positive mood.

I am so excited to be able to have a speaking role with Tina Fernandez at the REIMAGINE 2023 Conference in Brisbane next week!! It has made me think about what I do personally to retool, replenish and reconnect with myself and over the next week I am going to share with you some of the routines I have in my life to achieve this for myself!!
