“It just went seamlessly.”

That’s how the owner of .medical described the build process, and that’s exactly how we like it.

At Akord, we don’t just manage problems. We solve them quickly. It’s one of the things that made this project feel, in Andrew's words, very, very easy.

We’re proud to bring calm to a process that’s often anything but.

Thanks to the Vivant Medical team for the trust.

When you’re building something entirely new, it helps to work with people who get it.

For the founders of , this wasn’t just about creating a brand new space, but about bringing a shared vision to life.

Working together didn’t feel transactional. It felt collaborative. Harmonious. Like we were building something bigger than the sum of its parts for the team, for the patients, and for the future of mental health care.

Thank you to Hema and Gaurav for the trust, openness, and generosity you brought to every step of the journey.

Sometimes, you just get a feeling.

When Dr Tanumay first walked into his new clinic rooms, he started snapping photos to share with colleagues and partners, because the excitement was instant.

That feeling didn’t start on handover day, though. From the very beginning, he said there was something about the way we worked — clear, honest, and collaborative — that just felt right.

He saw in us the same transparency and care that Blacktown Dermatology extends to its own patients. That alignment mattered. And when you’re busy caring for others, having a team you can depend on makes all the difference.

There’s more to a clinic than clean lines and pretty colours.

A good design makes work feel easier. It helps the team move through the day without bumps or bottlenecks. It gives patients a space where they feel welcome, even when they’re not feeling their best.

The most important thing is definitely how it looks, though that always makes the experience that much better. But how a space functions, how it feels to walk through it, and how well it supports the work that happens inside.

That’s what we think about when we design medical spaces, because small details add up to a better experience for everyone.

At @, this move carried more than boxes and floor plans. It carried history, relationships, and nearly three decades of care.

Before a single decision was made, we took time to understand how the practice truly operates, how the team works, how patients move through the space, and what matters most day to day.

The result is a practice that feels calm and considered, shaped around the people who use it. A space that supports patients with ease and gives practitioners room to do their work comfortably and well.

Throughout the clinic, framed images of their original cottage remain—a quiet homage to the place where so many families were cared for, and a reminder that while the space has grown, the heart of the practice remains the same.

Neither Hema nor Gaurav had ever built something like this before.
But they had a vision, and they had each other.

What they needed was a partner who could guide them through the unknowns, ask the right questions, and show them what was possible, step by step.

From the start, we worked as one team: honest about the constraints, clear on the numbers, and focused on how to keep the project lean without ever cutting corners.

Together, we built something more than a practice.
We built a space that holds stories, holds purpose, and, most importantly, holds people.

was their idea.
Helping bring it to life was our privilege.

Before a single line was drawn, we paused to ask the most important questions:
How does this practice care for its community?
What do the team value?
What kind of environment will support their work, not just today, but as they grow?

At , the answers shaped everything.

We designed a space that reflects who they are and how they work.
Not just warm and welcoming for patients, but thoughtfully laid out for the people delivering the care.
Every material, every zone, every detail was considered through the lens of comfort, efficiency, and purpose.

It looks beautiful. But more importantly, it feels like them.

Creating a new home for meant building in the middle of a working day.

Consult rooms and a treatment space were completed while the practice continued to see patients, and it all unfolded seamlessly.

For Dr Cindy Wong and her team, handing the reins to Akord meant they could keep their focus where it mattered: on their patients. We kept the timeline tight, the communication clear, and worked around their schedule—before hours, after hours—whatever it took to make it feel seamless.

The result? A beautiful, functional space

had been serving their community for over 20 years, until it was time to grow.

Their new space needed to honour the sensitivity of their work while staying within a tight budget. It was a challenge we were more than ready to meet.

Together, we designed and built a practice that feels calm and open, while still offering the privacy and comfort both practitioners and patients need.

Restrictions aside, the result is a space that holds its purpose beautifully, and we couldn’t be prouder to have brought it to life.

We'd like to take a moment to slow down, look back, and say thank you.

To everyone who was part of a project with us this year, whether you were dreaming, designing, building, or walking through the doors of your new space for the first time, we’re very grateful.

Wishing you a gentle, easy end to the year and a fresh start in 2026.

Relocating a medical practice can be an overwhelming decision, with so many variables and so much at stake. For Dr Jaspree, the turning point came when he decided to hand over those uncertainties to someone who’d walked this path many times before.

From the moment we began, he placed complete trust in our guidance. When we found a new site that we believed had potential, we told him, "this can be something special." He didn’t hesitate. And that trust? It paid off.

The new home of Rosedale Medical is a reflection of a smooth, collaborative process built on experience, transparency, and mutual respect.

has been supporting the Randwick community for over 20 years, and recently, they were ready to open the doors to something new.

This second location was more than an expansion. It was a chance to reimagine the experience for both patients and practitioners, starting with the space itself.

We worked closely with the team to shape an environment that feels calm, soft, and grounded. A place where people can feel safe enough to talk about difficult things and where psychologists can do their work without noise, clutter, or compromise.

There’s light, air, privacy. There’s intention behind every curve and corner. And most importantly, there’s a sense of ease from the moment you walk in.
