I was delighted to contribute to this article on why in 2023 there is still so much silence, shame and lack of acknowledgement given to the deep impacts of pelvic organ prolapse 🤯
Bravo for such a well written piece for the . This is not an easy topic to talk about and it certainly isn’t an uplifting s*xy topic to read about, so pieces like these are pivotal to creating change.
I couldn’t be prouder of Kimberley Smith who so bravely shared her own personal story in the article the hopes of helping others feel they are not alone and where they can start.
As discussed in the article I see these conditions on a daily basis on the clinic, and one of the hardest things for me is to sit back and watch women roll in year after year when I know there is so much that can be done to prevent in the first place. 🤯
We are starting to gain some momentum in this Space, so keep talking, keep writing, keep sharing and at some point the health minister might start listening. 👂💰🙏
