Big celebrations for our amazing Sara 🎉 She’s officially a Registered Psychologist alongside being a Proficient BSP! It's such an incredible achievement after years of hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others 💜

Of course, we marked the occasion the best way we know how – with a team feast! From homemade zeppole, gnocchi, chilli and matcha cookies to Indian sweets, prawns, chicken, salad and more – everyone brought a dish to share, filling the clinic with food, laughter, and love.

Congratulations Sara, we’re so proud of you! ✨

"When the right tools meet the right support, communication becomes limitless." 💬✨

This was the beautiful reminder from our recent AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) workshop with the brilliant Kristina from !

Our speech pathology team spent the day exploring powerful tools and strategies that give people new ways to connect and share their voice with the world.

We learnt that the best device is one that truly matches a person's unique needs and lifestyle. It’s about creating personalised communication pages and making sure clients, families, and support teams all feel confident and excited to use it every single day. 🎨❤️

That’s our promise to you. We're here to find and tailor the perfect tools, so you or your loved ones can communicate with confidence.

A massive thank you to Kristina for sharing her passion and expertise with our team! 💐

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing our clients thrive in their own homes. 💜

We’re sharing a recent success story from our amazing OT, Steven, who worked on a complex home modification project. It’s a powerful reminder of why we do what we do!

For many, navigating daily life at home can be a challenge. Our role is to identify those barriers and create clever solutions. From major changes to simple adjustments, the goal is always the same: to boost independence, safety, and confidence.

Seeing the incredible difference these modifications make for our clients and their families truly motivates our team every day. 💪

We’re proud to specialise in creating tailored environments that empower people to live life to the fullest. 🏡

Inspired by this story? Our Occupational Therapy team is passionate about helping you achieve your independence goals.

Thank you to everyone who joined our first-ever Building Bridges in NDIS event!

Brought to you by Allied X, Scope, Arbias, Fuel Your Life, Leisure Networks, National Assistance Card, and Transport Accident Commission.

A huge shoutout to Scope for hosting the event at your Hawthorn office!

In the lead-up to National Brain Injury Awareness Month this August, we focused on brain injury as our first theme. We heard from professionals in the field, and from those with lived experience.

Key takeaway from Ross, Facilitator at Brain Injury Matters:

“Brain injury is often invisible, and we need to be proactive in increasing awareness about its effects.”
He also hopes that more people living with brain injury realise they are not alone—there are great supports available to help them thrive.

One of those supports is the National Assistance Card, a valuable tool that empowers people with invisible disabilities such as brain injury and autism.

Brain Tip from Jeremy, Dietitian at Fuel Your Life (Dietitians):
Did you know that slow-digesting carbs are good for your brain? Try incorporating:
• Whole grains
• Sweet potatoes
• Fruit
• Dairy products (like yoghurt and low-fat milk)
• Beans, chickpeas, and lentils

Let’s continue to build bridges—and raise awareness together.
