Did you know it's likely you're not breathing correctly?
Take a look down...
When you breathe in and out - is your CHEST moving or your STOMACH, BACK and SIDES?
If it's your CHEST you're not breathing as well as you can - crazy right?!
Try to take a few moments each day to look down and focus on the breath...you want to be taking deep breaths right into the stomach, back and sides.
When you do this you are likely to feel much calmer, less anxious, less stressed and bonus points: the micro-movements from full breathing help with maintaining your lower back health!
Some ideas of when you could sneak your breath breaks in...
- Ordering your coffee ☕️
- Checking the surf conditions 🌊
- Sat at the traffic lights 🚦
- Waiting for your girlfriend/wife/partner 🛍️
