🚀 Big News at Brain Hub!

We’re excited to announce the arrival of cutting-edge technology to our clinic! 🎉

Brain Hub is now one of the very few neuro-rehabilitation clinics in Australia offering TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) — a safe, non-invasive therapy that uses gentle magnetic impulses to stimulate the brain.

👉 Already approved for conditions such as major depression, OCD, anxiety, and binge eating, TMS is showing incredible promise in enhancing brain function and mental well-being.

We’re proud to partner with BTL and their latest mobile TMS unit, EXOMIND, which has recognised benefits for:
✨ Improving mood & mental well-being
✨ Reducing stress
✨ Supporting better sleep
✨ Boosting confidence
✨ Assisting with weight loss, willpower & self-control

Our Clinic Director, Dr Carlo Rinaudo, is working closely with BTL to showcase and refine new protocols that may help both adults and children with developmental challenges, concussion, stroke recovery, and mental health conditions.

We recently had a team training day to get familiar with the technology.

What actually happens during a concussion — and why do some symptoms linger for weeks or even months? 🧠💥

In our latest blog, we explore how concussion affects the brain, how long recovery should take, and why symptoms like dizziness, brain fog, or poor sleep can persist if you push too hard, too soon. We also break down the risks of second impact syndrome and how professional care can support faster, safer healing.

Migraines affect millions of people globally and are often misunderstood as simply being a "bad headache." At Brain Hub, we take a more comprehensive view.

Multiple sclerosis affects more than just mobility—it impacts the brain, nervous system, and quality of life. 🧠💥

In our latest blog, we explore innovative, non-invasive tools that support brain function and neuroplasticity in MS care—including vagal nerve stimulation, laser therapy, and targeted vestibular rehabilitation.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a complex neurological condition that affects many aspects of movement, sensation, energy levels and overall daily functioning. At Brain Hub, a multidisciplinary and personalised approach is used to support people living with MS.

Happy World Brain Day! 🌍🧠 This year’s theme — Brain Health for All Ages — is one we proudly stand behind at Brain Hub and Brain Hub Kids.

Whether we’re supporting young children with sensory and developmental needs, or adults navigating recovery from concussion, dizziness or chronic pain, our focus is the same: helping every brain thrive, no matter the age.

Let’s celebrate the power of the brain — and the importance of looking after it across a lifetime. 💙

At Brain Hub, we use qEEG brain mapping (quantitative electroencephalography) to better understand how the brain is working. 🧠

This safe, non-invasive assessment measures and visualises brainwave activity—revealing patterns linked to conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, autism, stroke, and more.

By comparing brain activity to age-appropriate benchmarks, we can identify areas of dysregulation and design a personalised neurotherapy plan. The goal? Clearer insight, more effective treatment, and better outcomes for every individual.

On the final day of NAIDOC Week, we take this moment to respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Brain Hub is located — the Wallumattagal people of the Darug Nation.

We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters, culture and community. 🖤💛❤️

The NAIDOC Week theme for 2025—“The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”—celebrates the power of Indigenous youth to lead with purpose, grounded in the knowledge and resilience of those who came before them.

Ever wondered what really causes a migraine — and what your early warning signs might be? 🧠⚡

In our latest blog, we explore how migraines are now understood as a sensory processing disorder, what to look out for before they strike, and the evidence-based treatments that can help—including trigeminal nerve stimulation and simple lifestyle strategies.

Migraines affect millions of people globally and are often misunderstood as simply being a "bad headache." At Brain Hub, we take a more comprehensive view.

Who comes to Brain Hub? 🧠

Our recent patient survey gave us a glimpse into the families we support — across both Brain Hub and Brain Hub Kids.

👦 On average, our typical patient is a 6-year-old boy
📍 Families travel from all across Sydney (and beyond), with an average travel time of 40 minutes

These stats reflect those who completed the survey — not our full patient base — but they help us better understand who we serve and how we can continue improving your experience.

Thank you to everyone who took part!
