Four years ago, SportsFit Health & Rehab started with a simple goal: deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and genuinely help people move better and stay active.

Since then, itโ€™s grown into so much more โ€” an incredible team, amazing patients, strong community and sporting partnerships, and a clinic culture weโ€™re genuinely proud of.

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our family to yours !

Follow along as does an end stage Field session for a hamstring strain with !

The focus of the session is correcting technique in both acceleration positions (leaning forward) and top speed positions (being upright).

Here Shash uses a mixture of cues such as instructions, prompts, cones and bands to get that technique right and minimise future injury.

Follow along as works on lateral movements and coaches proper change of direction in this end stage ACL session.
We start with just breaking down the movement first, and then adding a powerband as resistance to reinforce the movement.
Good, safe change of direction involves making sure your foot is close to your centre of mass (i.e your trunk) and landing in slight knee extension

Next we add variables. We have mirroring (where you copy the movements of someone else) and a Y Drill where you have a 45 degree angle change of direction

All this is just a snippet of what an end stage ACL session looks like after SportsFit!
