“love that this month is presence because for me, presence is at the heart of all healing work.
Over the years, I've seen how transformative it can be simply to sit with someone who is fully present. It creates a space where all parts of us feel seen, heard, and safe. Presence is also something we can offer ourselves. Each time we pause, notice what we feel, and listen inwardly, we build self-trust and compassion.
One of my favourite quotes that speaks to this is from Thích Nhất Hạnh:
"The most precious gift we can offer anyone is our attention. When mindfulness embraces those we love, they will bloom like flowers."
A simple practice I often share is to place a hand on your body, take a few slow breaths, and ask: "What do I need right now?" This small act of presence can be the beginning of deeper self-connection.”
