🚀 Meet Alicia in her new role 🚀

We’re excited to share that Alicia has stepped into a newly created dual role at Wellspace Australia: Business Development Officer and Support Coordinator & Psychosocial Recovery Coach.

This role builds on Alicia’s experience as both a subcontractor and employee with Wellspace, giving her unique insight into what it means to work within a supportive, collaborative national provider while continuing to carry a participant caseload.

In the midst of ongoing NDIS changes, from stagnant pricing to mandatory registration and uncertainty around the future of Support Coordination, Alicia is focused on connection.

She’s here to:

🤝 Support providers or individuals considering scaling back, discontinuing, or choosing not to register for Support Coordination.

🤝 Offer confidential conversations about smooth participant and team transitions where people choose to move.

🤝 Connect with Support Coordinators, contractors, and employees who want to be part of a strong, scalable, values-driven organisation with national reach and a caseload of over 1,000 participants.

🤝 Build connections with participants, other providers, and stakeholders across the NDIS and mainstream community services to collaborate in all areas of support, services, and community.

Alicia is also spearheading the launch of a Queensland Support Coordination Interagency, supported by Wellspace management and the broader team, bringing Support Coordinators together to collaborate, share insights, and strengthen services for participants across the sector.

She’s also creating opportunities for providers, participants, and stakeholders in the NDIS and community services space to stay connected, share updates, and collaborate around all things NDIS and participant support.

She’s always open for a coffee, a Teams chat, or joining your team meeting to talk about anything and everything NDIS, collaboration, and connection.

Michael brings over a decade of experience in the Child and Youth sector to our team, with a strong background in supporting at-risk children and youth, as well as those in the Disability sector. His career began in Out of Home Care, and he spent 7 years dedicated to Children’s Respite & Short-Term Accommodation and Assistance services.

Michael’s journey into Case Management has been marked by his commitment to helping vulnerable children and youth navigate challenges and build brighter futures. He has worked within Child Protection, Kinship Care, and Community Corrections Victoria, where he has honed his skills in providing tailored support. With specialist training in Case Management and qualifications including a Diploma of Community Services and an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, Michael is a valuable asset to our team.

His approach is driven by a deep belief in empowering individuals to achieve their potential, and he takes pride in making a meaningful difference in their lives.
