All courses offer views over the stunning Northern Beaches. The 29th running of the famous northern beaches community event, the Beach2Beach Charity Fun Run & Festival (formerly Pub2Pub), will take place on SUNDAY 27 AUGUST 2023. Organised by Rotary Club of Warringah, the iconic non-profit event benefits more than 10 wonderful charities including Life Education Australia, Bear Cottage, the Childre
n’s Cancer Institute, Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals, Sunnyfield Disability Services, The Kids’ Cancer Project and White Ribbon Australia. The 13km main event starts at Dee Why Surf Life Saving Club and finishes at the Newport Surf Life Saving Club. The Beach2Beach Fun Run & Festival now caters for everyone from serious athletes to families, with two optional short courses:
6km - Warriewood to Newport SLSC
3km - Mona Vale to Newport SLSC
A real festival atmosphere will prevail at the Newport Finish Line with a big stage dedicated to Live Music, International Food stalls, drinks available at a licensed Bar, Activities and Rides for kids and of course, the Presentation Ceremony. Over $13,000 in prizes will be awarded to the winners of various Team Challenges thanks to our major sponsors Harbord Diggers and URM. Over $200,000 was raised by entrants’ individual fundraising efforts last year. In 2023, The Beach2Beach hopes to support additional fundraising efforts and reach a target of $300,000. So get involved, not only will you be able to reach your fitness goals, but you can also run for a cause and make a real difference to some very needy charities by getting sponsored whilst you run. Not everyone can participate in this great race, so you can help your colleagues or friends feel they are part of it by having them sponsor you!!!
