Exciting Opportunity for Our Participants!
BDMS Community Services was proud to have our team present at one of Darwin’s local shopping centres this week.
What made this experience even more special was the opportunity we provided for some of our participants to join us as part of our working staff for the day. It was a fantastic chance for them to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Our participants were thrilled to be involved and have expressed great interest in similar employment opportunities in the future. We’re committed to continuing to create pathways for meaningful engagement and skill development.

Needing a break from your caregiving role? Sydney carers and participants are supported through NDIS Respite Care, formally known as Short Term Accommodation (STA). This service, usually funded for up to 28 days per year, offers group or individual stays of up to 14 days at a time, giving carers much-needed rest.

1) Look at your numbers on My NDIS or via your Plan Manager—know exactly where your funds stand.

2) Prioritise services you need most, and pause non-essential ones.
