We all love Young Living and our amazing products, but it's important that when we share them with our friends and family, we promote them compliantly.

The majority of Young Living's products are regulated as cosmetic products*, therefore therapeutic claims cannot be made with them.

Here are some handy tips on what to avoid when sharing cosmetic products on your websites.

🧐Make Sure You Pay Attention🧐

When sharing our amazing products with your family and friends, it's important that you share them according to their use.

Some essential oils can be promoted for aromatic use, topical use, and our culinary oils can even be promoted for ingesting according to the directions on the label, which is no more than 1-2 drops in food or beverages for flavouring. Be sure to refer to our website or our product guide if you need any further guidance.

Stacking is often misunderstood as strategic placement. They are not the same. Young Living offers our brand partners 30 days after enrolment to strategically place brand partners in their organisation.

🌿When Sharing Thieves🌱

We just wanted to offer a friendly reminder to our brand partners when sharing our iconic Thieves® range on how to do it compliantly.

Avoid sharing claims that a product is antimicrobial e.g., a disinfectant, antibiotic, antiseptic, or kills specific types of mould. Claims that a product is antibacterial, a sanitizer or kills germs or bacteria should also be avoided, except for the Thieves Hand Sanitizer and Thieves Hand Sanitizing Wipes which we can say “kills 99.99% of germs”.

Refer to each individual product page for guidance on acceptable claims for each product.
