You may already be aware of a recent investigation by CHOICE that raises important concerns around sunscreen SPF claims.

Dr Ritu was interviewed by The Australian newspaper and on Channel 7’s Sunrise program in regards to CHOICE magazine’s finding that of 20 sunscreens commonly sold in Australia, alarmingly 16 failed to meet their advertised SPF 50+ claims. One which is advertised as SPF 50 was tested three times and found to have an SPF of only 4.
