"Bridging Minds: Neurosurgery in the Solomon Islands"

The Aelan Neurosurgical Team completed their third mission to the Solomon Islands from 16–23 November 2025.

The team consisted of 23 medical professionals and 2 medical students, and collectively completed 13 operations on 12 patients across four days of surgery.

Aelan continues to break new ground in neurosurgery in the Solomon Islands and remains committed to training local staff, building a sustainable neurosurgical service, and providing hope to local families.
