As a general rule, I do not express my views on elections and politics, instead choosing to respect our leaders and hope for their guidance in achieving peace and harmony for our nation. As the federal elections approach, I have been introspective and prayerful. I feel a heightened sense of responsibility to make a thoughtful decision. I encourage everyone to conduct comprehensive research, show respect for our community and Australian leaders, and vote for candidates who exhibit empathy and commitment to enhancing our communities and engaging in ongoing positive endeavors. Sad story yet again. We are constantly exposed to heartbreaking and disturbing stories. Women and children are frequently left without access to food and money. Women who have devoted themselves to childcare find it difficult to adapt when life becomes tough due to their lack of autonomy within their relationships. Many are denied the right to work and lack a safe space to seek refuge. They are often forced to make impossible choices between life and death. Where can they find a secure sanctuary? Who will provide sustenance for these women and their children? It is disheartening to see some of these women, despite their eagerness to assist, being hindered by inadequate resources and financial constraints. I appreciate your kindness, which has temporarily met their fundamental needs. There is still a long way to go. Can we join forces to provide employment opportunities, basic necessities, and a safe haven for these women? Can we offer them love and acceptance without scrutiny?

We are thrilled to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebrating Holi with RRIC. Your support enabled us to share a powerful message of love and acceptance with many people. The women who took part in our celebration did an exceptional job of highlighting the strength that comes from unity and love. We appreciate the generous support of Ashu Chopra, who sponsored our clothing, Jimmy Photography, who captured the moments, and Shail, who provided us with opportunities. Polly Datta was a fantastic master of ceremonies, and our beautiful models, Shakshi, Suhela Amatul, Kristen Maine, Natalie, Casey Zhang, and Sony Sodhi, were outstanding. Thank you for your contributions.
