Join us on our four day Spinal Level 2 Course being held over two weekends at the Royal North Shore Hospital!

This four day course will improve participants management of upper cervical spine, thoracic spine and SIJ conditions. It covers the assessment and management of neural, myofacial, joint and motor control systems within a clinical reasoning framework. The safe use of high velocity thrusts is taught with a high tutor to participant ratio.

Our lovely presenters include Natalie Pulsford FACP, Roxanne Azoory APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Mark Kaizik APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

The SPA group are running a Radiology Update course run by Dr Phil Lucas over x3 wednesday nights at Moore Park starting on the 15th of July. Sounds like a great oportuntiy to learn the latest in diagnostic imaging for musculoskeletal conditions!!

'The Radiology Update is a six hour course run over an evening per week, for three consecutive Wednesday's. Dr Lucas presents on a diverse range of topics, covering x-ray, CT and MRI of different parts of the body Up to date information will be provided on the latest imaging and procedures. This will give physiotherapists an opportunity to link current available resources and clinical use to enhance patient treatment strategies in a more timely and effective manner.'

Only two weeks to go to register for our upcoming dinner lecture, presented by Trish Wisbey-Roth, Specialist Sports Physiotherapist
(FACP) and Olympic Physiotherapist. Trish presents: "Clinical diagnosis of hip dysfunction as a contributing factor in patients
with lumbo-pelvic pain and dysfunction". This presentation will outline an effective screening protocol to assess the involvement of hip dynamic dysfunction in patients presenting with lumbo-pelvic pain and dysfunction.

Spinal Level 1 has been very popular this year, with our Level 1 course in Sydney on the 13th June already sold out!!

We have two remaining courses open for registration.
Spinal Level 1 in Orange, on the 8th August will be presented by Michael Ryan, Musculoskeletal Specialist and Roxanne Azoory, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Specialization candidate.

Before going on holiday mode this year, consider signing up for our Shoulder Level 1 course in March, 2015 at Charles Stuart University.
This course is aimed to provide the attending physiotherapists with knowledge and practical skills for assessing, diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal shoulder pathologies such as glenohumeral joint instability, frozen shoulder, localised contracture, rotator cuff tears, ACJ pathology and impingement. The material will predominantly focus on assessment and diagnosis with a particular interest in formulating a structured assessment approach including practice of manual scapula assessment skills described by Lyn Watson. Ross Lenssen has a close working relationship with Lyn Watson, and has commenced his own doctorate on shoulder impingement dysfunction. Ross will cover the essential principles of the shoulder; anatomy, biomechanics, assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and management.
