Seeking an experienced female SUPPORT WORKER in Cremorne 2090 NSW for a 12yo girl with Autism.
Support worker must work well with children and be enthusiastic and friendly. Fluent English speaking SW required.

Shifts: Generally 2 hours Monday and 2 hours Thursday and may increase over time.

Assisting with daily tasks (building independence, help with homework, hygiene awareness etc.)

Must have all required checks including NDISWC and WWCC as well as Driver's license.

*NO COMPANIES OR CONTRACTORS!!

Did you know that NDIS funding can help carers take a break? Participants may use some funding for extra support work, or even Respite.

Respite supports participants and their carers by giving carers short breaks from their caring responsibilities. It also gives participants time away from their families.

For a participant, this might mean:

⭐ī¸ Joining a new community group.

⭐ī¸ Having a short stay out of home to try new things, make new friends or develop new skills.

⭐ī¸ Temporary periods of extra personal supports so that the participant can remain at home when families and/or carers are not available.

⭐ī¸ Support to participate in community activities, resulting in a break for carers.

For carers, taking some time off can help them better manage their own health and improve their wellbeing.
