"I was referred to Sarah following a very traum

atic incident in my life. I had always been a strong, independent person, a leader in my workplace. I tended to give my all to others and perhaps not care for myself enough. All of a sudden my life collapsed around me and I was a mess. I knew I needed help. My psychologist suggested that learning to calm my thoughts and my mind when it was in turmoil was an important strategy for healing. She suggested learning meditation and she suggested Sarah. I tentatively contacted Sarah, thinking that if she sounded too weird or too ' new agey' - I didn't have to go. Sarah suggested a course of six sessions during which time we would learn about and practice different types of meditation. From the first session, Sarah helped me feel safe and she gently got to know me as a person, not just as a client. "I'm very happy to provide this testimonial. I'm a 36 year old bloke who loves a beer, V8's, the Cronulla Sharks and now, thanks to Sarah Bennett; sinking into a relaxing meditation. For about 12 months, I was struggling with getting to sleep and just generally being able to switch off and relax. After a trip to the Doc, I was given Sarah's details. My Doc knew I had no experience with meditation and had never really considered it as a response to, well, anything. But, I decided it couldn't hurt, so I gave her a call. From the first contact, Sarah was excellent at explaining how the practice of meditation worked and how I could use it for a natural remedy. From the first session, I was pretty hooked. Over a few weeks we tried a range of meditation styles, letting me work out which ones worked for me and which ones didn't connect as well. The Fibonacci Theory!!

This incredibly in-depth and interconnected aspect of the patterns of nature is fascinating. The Fibonacci sequence is a beautiful design of divine order which can be seen throughout our world in so many ways.

It represents order, harmony and the insights of the structure of our universe. If you walk in nature, you will see it everywhere.

In the 13th Century, the mathematician - Leonardo of Pisa discovered the mathematical sequence of numbers that represents the Fibonacci sequence. The pattern of numbers are used in artwork, beautiful architechure and design.

We can find it on a sea shell, a curled fern, our own fingerprint, sunflower, within our human body and in so many other places.

When we implement the number sequence in our meditations, the Fibonacci sequence allows us to feel the infinite and beautiful connection of divine order with harmony and interconnection.

Dr Bessell Van Der Kolk - the author of "The Body Keeps the Score" is a brilliant man, who beautifully explains the benefits of yoga for those that have experienced trauma in their life.
Trauma can come back as a reaction, not a memory and can stay blocked in the body. Yoga is a beautiful practice which assists to release these blocked reactive emotions, so that you can then start to feel the true nature of who you are again, and live the life you deserve to live. Once we quiet the mind with meditation and move our body thru these ancient practices, the feeling of happiness, peacefulness and great health will arise.
