I'm sad to be about to start seeing my last shift of clients. Thank you for putting your trust in me for the last 16 years.

Despite my sadness, I am making the right move for my family and I and I'm very excited to be starting work next week with Eric It's only an 11 minute drive away from Riverside Chiropractic. 🚗

I'll be moving clinics at the end of April and starting in Riverview from 28th April.

I’ve found a really lovely new space and I’m looking forward to continuing to care for you all there.

Nothing else is changing — you’ll still be seeing me, just in a new location 🤍

I’ll share more details over the next couple of weeks (including how to get there nice and easily 👌)

You don’t need to be “less busy” first.

Connection is one of the simplest ways to support your mind and body 😅

These are the go-to things for when my friends ask me about their stiff neck. ☝🏼

In many cases it's the little, repetitive things you're doing each day that can really jam up your neck.

Think about your sleeping posture as being just as important as your work posture throughout the day. If your sleeping position is off ie don't sleep on your tummy and/or your pillow isn't the right height you can really mess up your neck.

Get an ergonomic assessment of your workstation if you aren't sure if it's set up properly for you and watch how you hold your phone. Very often I see people with their head almost looking towards the ground whilst they're using their phone. This is absolutely damaging your neck!

And last, but definitely not least get checked by a chiropractor as we are really good at identifying joints in your neck that are jammed up and correcting them. DM me if you'd like to find out more.

Just making sure you know a few things about back pain.
Because so many people panic the moment they have a bad day. Healing isn’t a straight line.

You can feel worse before you feel better. A flare-up doesn’t cancel out progress.

Your back responds really well to the basics:
- Good sleep
– Nourishing food
– Hydration
– Regular, gentle movement
– Lower stress where possible

And no… complete rest for days on end usually isn’t the solution.

Also — your night setup matters. If your spine isn’t supported for 6–8 hours, that load adds up just like a poor desk setup does.

If your symptoms include numbness, weakness, or pain travelling down the leg — or things just aren’t improving — don’t ignore it.

You don’t have to push through.

Save this for later, or send it to someone who needs the reminder 🤍

Simple exercise to do at your work desk to help with that annoying neck and shoulder tension.

Place an exercise band, or you could even use a belt behind the back of your neck, pull the ends forward as you bend your neck back over the band.

Hold for 10 seconds and aim to do 3 per hour.

The purpose of this is to help bend your neck back into the direction of its natural curve. So often our head is forward looking down at devices or where slouching forward, this damages the natural curve in our neck which can lead to degeneration in the spine.

Please share this with your work colleague to help keep them healthy at work.

Just because headaches are common doesn’t mean you should live with them (or constantly pop anti-inflammatories)!

Chiropractic treatment aka adjustments can not only help with current chronic headaches but also reduce future headaches as well.

How? Adjustments can target the misaligned vertebrae that increase stress in your nervous system and trigger headaches.

And remember: your lifestyle matters. Take time to think about your headache triggers and make simple changes to your daily routine to keep them at bay.
