We farewell a decade of beauty and elegance at Escena Skin Clinic, proudly curated by Zara’s passion and dedication for luxury skincare on the Northern Beaches and beyond. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Zara’s cherished clients for their unwavering support throughout the ESCENA journey.  A heartfelt thank you to the amazing BABOR team for the many years of support & milestones achieved along the way as a BABOR partner.
 
As the ESCENA chapter gracefully closes, we pass the torch to Nicole Atkins and her team, transitioning into The Beauty Rooms Seaforth.

With over 35 years in the beauty industry, including training from the French Academy of Beauty Therapy; Nicole is a seasoned BABOR Beauty Therapist & previously worked as a BABOR educator. She integrates the realms of yoga into her beauty career, delivering exceptional and bespoke skin treatments that will leave your skin glowing. Call or text Nicole on 0458774248 to book your appointment now. Open Tuesday - Saturday until late most evenings. There will also be a doctor onsite Fridays and Saturdays.

In loving memory of Zara Sapounas.

It is with great sadness that the family advise of the passing of their beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunty, Zara Sapounas.

Zara passed away on Tuesday 10th October 2023.

The viewing will be held at Acropolis Funerals Services, 253 -255 Homer St, Earlwood, on Wednesday 18th October 2023 at 6:00pm.

The funeral will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 90 Newcastle St, Rose Bay on Thursday 19th October 2023 at 11:00am.

The wake will be held at Orso on the Spit, 79 Parriwi Rd, Mosman.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected at the church for the McGrath Foundation.

Sincere thanks extended for the warm sentiments and expressions of sympathy and condolences received from Zara's family at this difficult time.

It is with a heavy heart to inform you all that our beautiful Zara has passed away on Tuesday, 10th of October, after her extensive & gruelling battle with aggressive metastatic breast cancer.

Our beloved Zara was an incredible woman who lived an amazing life full of zest. She was a warrior through & through, and was so incredibly loved by all those who had the pleasure of being in her presence.

Zara absolutely adored her dear family, friends and clients. Her biggest achievement was raising her two beautiful daughters. She built a very successful small business, ESCENA where she was able to express her true artistry, creativity, love & passion for helping people look & feel their best. Zara was such an enigmatic person & exuded an extraordinary magnetic energy that would continually draw you in.

Her light will continue to shine through her two daughters, Eirena & Chloe, and husband Chris.

We ask for kindness and understanding for our family during this time & would appreciate no further social media posts.

Zara, our angel, now rests with the other angels where she belongs, joining her father. Her beautiful soul & spirit will be with us always.

My darling clients and friends, I know you have all been waiting patiently to hear an update from me on how things are moving.

The day I won this award earlier this year was a milestone. I was incredibly elated & proud to have been able to receive recognition for my partnership with BABOR. The award also marked a milestone in my career along my diagnosis with metastatic breast cancer & my medical journey.

To be truthful, after receiving my award a lot has changed & my health has rapidly declined over the recent months. I was not sure how I would share this news since I’ve been unfit to return to work. I absolutely adore my clients & getting stuck in to all things ESCENA; but unfortunately I’m still not able to get back on my feet just yet as I continue my treatment & my battle with this aggressive disease.

Our in-house dermal therapist, Ivana, has been absolutely incredible managing the clinic in my absence & she is still keeping ESCENA afloat a few days of the week. So, for those of you who need a much needed facial, touch up of your brows or a restock of your favourite products - please call the clinic & leave a message; Ivana will book you in 🩵

Thank you to all those who have checked in, keeping me in your thoughts and prayers; I’m not able to get back to everyone at this time but please know I do appreciate your support. This is a fight I will not give up easily.
