World Championships, Shanghai China 🤩 Huge congratulations goes to Emily Sheppard and Marcus Della Marta on taking victory yesterday in both their spares races!!! Emily alongside pair partner Sarah Marriott (MUBC) won the reserve women’s pair race and Marcus won the reserve men’s single scull race. An incredible way to finish their campaign and on their debuts on the World Championship stage

We look to today where SUBC Eleanor Price and Taylor Caudle will race the Women’s Pair at 12:31pm in Heat 3 tune in via the World Rowing Website live stream 🌟

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM ANNOUNCED 📣

Rowing Australia has announced their senior team list including 7 SUBC athletes to compete in Shanghai, China over the days of September 21st - 28th. 6 of the athletes will have their official debut on the World Rowing Championships stage which is an incredible achievement in its self. All 7 athletes are making yourselves and the SUBC community tremendously proud, let’s go take on the world!! 🌎🔥🤩

U22 OCEANIA ROWING CHAMPS

Last weekend we had 3 SUBC athletes who were selected to compete for NSW in the U22 Oceania Rowing Championships held at West Lakes, Adelaide.

Overall the NSW team finished very strong -
James Scott Brown racing the Men’s Single Scull, placed 4th. Then raced the Men’s Coxless Four, placing 2nd in the B Final

Alice Macready raced the Women’s Single Scull, placing 7th. Followed by racing the Women’s Quad alongside Josie Armstrong, placing 1st in the B Final

Josie Armstrong also raced the Women’s Double, placing 11th

James, Alice and Josie came together to race the Mixed Eight which placed 6th

What an exciting opportunity and experience our athletes got to be apart of! We are very proud of you all 💛💙

It’s 1 day to go until our U23 Australian Representatives take to the world stage in Poznan, Poland to race their heats!! Our athletes alongside their crews have been training immensely hard at their training camp in Varese, Italy for the past few weeks - here’s our athletes receiving their official racing zootie🇦🇺

With the international season well underway we have 6 SUBC athletes competing at Henley Royal Regatta starting today and running until 6th July! U23 Australian Eights NAMED! ⭐️ Congratulations to the following athletes, Edward Nutt, Imogen Grey and Tiffany Botha who have been selected to represent Australia at the u23 World Rowing Championships to be held in Poland next month! After an incredibly close and tough selection process these athletes have made outstanding performances to earn their seats in the eights 🇦🇺
