The Junior Toddlers are loving all things vehicles at the moment 🚛✨So today, we built on this interest by adding a variety of vehicles to our sensory tray. Little hands had the best time exploring their favourite trucks, trains and cars while discovering a variety of textures through hands-on play 🚗🛺🛻

This morning in our Discovery Zone, we explored a bug-themed sensory tray filled with printed creepy crawlies, coloured rice and cocoa pops! The children loved feeling all the different textures, moving the bugs around the tray and strengthening their little hands as they practised using tweezers. So much fun and learning through play 🐜🤎

Using tongs and colourful wooden pebbles, we practised sorting by colour while strengthening fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination and concentration. A simple activity with so much learning packed into it! 🌈🧠💭

☀️ Summer is here, and sun safety is our priority.

At our centre, children enjoy outdoor play in the mornings and late afternoons when UV levels are lower. Throughout the day our educators ensure:

🧴 SPF 50+ sunscreen applied and reapplied
🌳 Shade and hydration breaks
💧 Lots of water play and cool-down moments

Santa came to visit our Seniors and Juniors today! 🎅🎄
On this hot Christmas Eve, Santa (aka our wonderful Donna 😆) treated us to some much-needed zooper doopers. The children were quick to spot the familiar face and loved every minute of it! Thanks for the sweet treat, Donna ❤️✨

Our friends had so much fun with this Christmas tree number-ordering activity! Using numbered strips, they carefully placed decorations in the correct order, practising number recognition and sequencing along the way. Lots of focus, problem-solving and confidence building - all wrapped up in a little Christmas magic 🤍🎄
