After years of carrying an internal struggle he didn’t understand, Danny’s early twenties brought an overwhelming wave of intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and a deep depression.

What followed was a personal journey through intensive therapy and the steady presence of loved ones who never gave up on him. By sharing his story, Danny teaches us that even though mental illness can leave you feeling isolated and overwhelmed, you can build a rich and meaningful life.

JewishCare NSW is a not-for-profit organisation that has been the major provider of services for vulnerable members of our community for over 80 years. Our mission is to support and strengthen the resilience and independence of people in our community.

The four service areas of JewishCare are:
