Making core memories 🫶

What an incredible A Weekend Away trip we just had in Berry. Soccer games, exploring the town, pub outings, and of course, a visit to the famous Berry Donut Van. All made even better by the perfect weather.

A huge thank you to our volunteers Matt Sesel, Ben Lonstein, Coby Simmons, Jay Karney, Ryan Mayer & Sam Bennett for making this boys trip just so special.

Last week, we held a training session for our brilliant new mentors for both our Big Brothers Big Sisters and Young Adult Mentoring programs 🫶

Before anyone starts as a mentor with us, we make sure they have the right training. That way, we know they will feel confident and capable in really important areas, like boundaries, child safety, confidentiality and of course, being a fun and impactful role model 🧡

This is what learning looks like. 🙌

At our latest Upskill workshop, participants rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on, tackling real everyday tasks like making beds and sorting through the chaos, in a real apartment, as a team.

A special thank you to for generously opening their doors and letting us use their space, and to our wonderful volunteers Sam Vidor, Alicia Vidor, Kayla Boyarsky, Taya Simmons, and Bianca Ritch, for giving their time and energy to make it all happen.
