I’ve had great feedback from my new class Fridays 9.30am. ✨ an uplifting and empowering class designed to support you as you age. It’s a combination of yoga for strengthening, followed by restorative, yin style poses for deep relaxation. There will be a focus on breath work and body awareness. As you know, as we age our joints stiffen and tissues get dry. Yoga helps the body remain hydrated, fluid and flexible.

As part of my continuing professional development I have finished two courses therapy institute

Integrating Polyvagal Theory with Trauma informed Yoga

Somatic Yoga Practice Workshop


It is clear from both of these course there is no ‘one size fits all model’, one persons response to trauma is so different to another.

Factors such as individual coping mechanisms, past experiences, support systems, and even genetic predispositions can all play a role in how someone reacts to and copes with trauma.

My friend sent me this meme by i love ❤️ it as it’s describing post traumatic growth.

I look forward to integrating the learnings into my Yoga Therapy. My private yoga therapy sessions are now on Thursdays.
