Elizabeth Trevan Our Funeral Director supported by Picaluna

Elizabeth Trevan Our Funeral Director supported by Picaluna Our Funeral Director works in partnership with Picaluna Beautiful Funerals. The death of a loved one, whether sudden or expected, is always a difficult time.

Picaluna is a community of like minded people, helping families to create more authentic, compassionate and affordable cremations, burials and memorials. Picaluna felt that there was a much better way to conduct funerals, and are changing the way funerals are done for the better. This change is underpinned by their core purpose to help communities to honour, mourn, celebrate, heal and rejuvenate.

Picaluna also chooses to donate 5% of their Service Fee to a charity of the family’s choice. The Picaluna partnership supports me in the logistics required to arrange and conduct a funeral; including transfers, registering the death with Births, Deaths & Marriages, access to a vast range of suppliers, mortuary care, and invoicing. This allows me to spend more time with you, crafting and delivering a personalised ceremony, authentic to the one you loved.

To the casual observer Surfebruary may not look like much of a challenge for me. But when you reside 40km from the nearest beach and have to battle a heavy workload, road tolls and petrol prices… it’s not as easy as it looks. It’s totally worth it though to catch those waves and dive into healing waters and raise funds for charity partner .

Thank you to all my generous sponsors. It was the Picaluna Team’s best year yet…. and the water was fine!!! 🌊💙🌙

The Picaluna Funerals - Northern Rivers team came together to guide the beautiful farewell of one of nature’s gentle men and a pillar of the Lismore district community.

An incredible honour to bear witness and to be present as the professional ‘hugger’ 😉💙🌙.
