Our company is expanding, and we are looking for an EXPERIENCED Remedial Building Tradesman to join the team.

Combined Building Services, is a professional specialised building company, focused on the Remedial Building and Waterproofing Sector. With over 30 years' experience in traditional and remedial building projects, we have a strong reputation for diagnosing and resolving complex building issues. We regularly work with Engineers, Architects, Strata Managers and Property Owners to investigate and detect building defects and implement solutions in a cost effective, competent manner all over Sydney.

We are seeking an experienced Tradesperson to assist our existing supervisory and production team complete our projects to our well-established quality standards, remedial building and waterproofing experience would definitely be an asset. There is scope for progression within our company through experience and training.

Reporting to the Site Foreman and Project Manager this role will be the hands or our company interacting with likeminded crew and working across Sydney on a variety of sites and a cross section of projects – private, commercial, multi-storey residential, schools and government agencies.
Your previous experience and knowledge of remedial building works will be appreciated and put to great use.

This position will have responsibility for:
• Completing trade based remedial building repairs
• Liaising closely with Site and Project Manager
• Completing task in line with project allowances
• Work with, and direct other site staff where required
• Problem solving technical issues
• Distribute the tasks amongst the various trades
• Maintaining site diaries and general record keeping

To be successful in this role you will have:
• Experience in the building industry
• Experience in the remedial building and waterproofing industry
• Have your own tools
• Highly Motivated, resourceful & pro active
• Able to work in a busy team and autonomously
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have OH&S White Card
• A Drivers Licence
• Own Vehicle required
• A Proven ability to work unsupervised

We are a remedial building contractor with a strong customer base. We focus on providing professional service to our customers resolving complex building issues in a manner that minimises disruption. We focus on quality over quantity.

The role will include driving our tipper truck delivering materials and equipment, providing site labouring support where needed, working closely with our logistics coordinator to ensure site and warehouse efficiency and cleanliness is maintained and other general duties to support the business as required.

The potential to learn about the remedial building sector from the ground up with long term career development opportunities exists for the willing candidate.

Car licences with good record required.

Construction induction card required.

Able to drive manual vehicle.
