Adventure awaits - and safety first! 🏕️🚑

Our dedicated St John Ambulance volunteers were on hand at the NSW Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow in Sydney, providing first aid services throughout the event. From our proud group photo to the rows of shining caravans and campervans, our team stood ready to care for every adventurer who dropped by.

4 am starts, cold pre-dawn air, and unwavering dedication 💚🌅

Our St John Ambulance volunteers were on site from 4 am at Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta for the ANZAC Dawn Service, providing vital first aid support for our local community. From that early-morning team photo to the solemn march of our soldiers, every moment reminded us of the importance of service and remembrance.

We’re so grateful to every volunteer who rose with the sun to stand guard over our community, ensuring all who gathered felt safe and cared for. 🩹🇦🇺

Two weeks, thousands of smiles, and countless moments of care 💚🐰🚑

Our amazing St John volunteers and cadets were on duty at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, providing first aid services across multiple fixed posts and roaming teams – plus our dedicated Medical Centre staffed by St John volunteer healthcare professionals providing critical care for patients. From Easter weekend thrills to busy show days, we treated critical patients and kept everyone safe with our high standard of care.

Big shoutout to our radios & communications crew 📻 for helping us manage incidents quickly and efficiently, ensuring smooth support for all patrons and staff.

Thank you to every St John member and cadet who gave up their time (including Easter weekend!) to serve our community. Your commitment makes all the difference ❤️

Today, we pause to honour all who have served and sacrificed in the ANZAC spirit – the brave people across generations of deployments, along with the families and communities who stood beside them.

ANZAC Day also holds deep meaning to St John. During the World Wars and other conflicts, our Volunteer Aid Detachments played a vital role — delivering medical care, first aid, patient transport and auxiliary support, both at home and abroad.

Their legacy is preserved thanks to the important work of the St John Historical Society, who continue to collect, share and honour these stories for generations to come.
