We are currently looking to recruit highly motivated and outgoing individuals to work at a major event/function centres casually in South Brisbane QLD

You will be required to perform the following tasks

- set up and break down of function tables and chairs

-set up and break down of flooring

- set up and removal of tableware including cutlery, plates, glassware and other items

- assist with other set up and break down of items for the event required by the supervisor.

We are looking for

- professional and highly motivated people

- well groomed and highly presentable staff with great communication skills

- staff who don’t have issues working at night

- experience in events and venues will be highly regarded

- potential to expand into other event roles such as ushers and customer service

- staff who are flexible as shifts can vary depending on events. Morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts are available and staff must be able to work all 3 shifts.

Vital Protection Group is looking to hire a Event Security Team Leader required for Moorepark NSW for a temporary 6-8 month contract.

THE ROLE AND TEAM

Leading a team of 10 - 40 event security staff and working closely with the clients and managers, you will oversee the day to day running of the events security team.

This will include work flow planning, team management and managing relationships with various external stakeholders on a day to day basis.

Reporting through to the Security Manager you will have a unique opportunity to create positive change and lead a team of individuals who keep all event staff and visitors of the facility safe at all times.

This role will commence in late July 2022 for 6-8months and maybe extended.

You will be required to be available for all major events, which includes Monday - Sunday and public holidays. (event dates depending)

THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Hold appropriate certifications and License (NSW Security License. Provide First-aid and CPR, NSW RSA)
• Experience in working in an events supervisory role would be a benefit
• Excellent planning, communication, written and presentation skills.
• Punctual and results driven.

Vital Protection Group is looking for very well presented and spoken Security Officers for one of Sydney’s premiere event venues on a 7 day rotating roster in Sydney CBD.

Shift times will vary and will require some flexibility, shift and pay will be according to the Security Services Industry Award.

Commencing in MAY (this may change) we require the following:

- NSW Security Licence Class 1AC
- Current RSA Certified
- Current First Aid (HLATID003) Certified
- Incident Reporting Experience
- Event Security Experience
- Knowledge of 2-Way Radio Use
- Premises Patrols
- Above average communication skills
- Reporting of incidents including documenting health and safety hazards
- Liaison with emergency services where needed.
