NEW GENERATION OF KANGOO JUMPS - The boots were redesigned in the 1990’s by Swiss entrepreneur Denis Naville who focused on improving comfort, design & performance. KANGOO fitness programs were created as a result and since then the boots have been developed for both outdoor running and indoor choreographed exercise classes.
TOUCH OF HISTORY- Prototypes for sprigged boots were developed in the 20th century in Eastern Europe. The original purpose for the invention was a recreation device for athletes recovering from leg injuries.
SCIENTIFIC STUDIES - Scientific studies by NASA, show that rebound exercise is the most efficient, effective and pleasant exercise ever devised. Because your body is working against gravity, all your body cells, all your muscles, all your organs are challenged and trained to be their most efficient with each gentle bounce you do. A Swiss chiropodist study shows that Kangoo Jumps correct pronation and supination while in use. Kangoo Jumping is a blessing for those who have had to quit running/jogging because of stressed out joints.
CALORIC BURN & OXYGEN UPTAKE STUDY - Studies show that while jogging in Kangoo Jumps your caloric burn and oxygen uptake is greater than when jogging in conventional running shoes. The studies show greater results when performing at a lesser pace than at a higher speed, which is excellent for individual who have not performed any type of cardiovascular in a while and are looking to get back into shape.
