This month “Ask the Chiro is a great question!”

You may experience temporary relief, but ultimately you are making the whole system worse. Eventually you may cause yourself more pain! This may result in extended healing time and may take longer to correct and stabalise by a health practitioner.

When adjusting, a chiro takes time to examine and identify the subluxation, (the joint that needs correction), and then they will apply a specific thrust in the correct direction to restore normal function. Not even an experienced Chiro can treat themselves.

There is only one week to go before this year’s Spinal Health Week! This year we are talking about sore necks.

It is good to know that neck pain is common and most cases of neck pain get better within a few days.

The symptoms you experience will depend on what’s causing your neck pain but may include:

👉 pain in the neck, shoulders and/or upper chest
👉 stiff neck
👉 difficulty turning your head

If you have neck pain, there are many things you can do to manage it and get on with life. If you suffer from neck pain or want to simply maintain your neck health and wellbeing then why not !
