Here at Role OT, we believe that with the right supports (people, equipment, technology and environment), people with disabilities can thrive. They can face challenges, achieve goals, and be incredible humans. They can define their own role in life and be who they want to be.
Our vision for Role OT is:
Children and young people with physical disabilities will have:
- Equipment that supports them to participate in activities that are important to them
- Functional assessments that accurately represent what a person can do, the support they need, and clear recommendations to help them reach their goals
Parents and families will have:
- Support to understand the options available to them when making decisions with their loved one
- Opportunity to learn how to best help their loved one thrive in daily activities
