Our condolences to Dr Rakesh Sachdev’s family who passed away suddenly this week. His funeral details are in flyer
Rakesh was founding director for AASHA and a very good friend. We all travelled to many parts of the world together with group of doctors.
He was the one who inspired me to start with Dementia awareness and we both started this beautiful initiative.
We will miss this lovely gentleman and thank you Dr Rakesh for your guidance, support, vision . His legacy will continue. RIP🙏🌈❤️

AASHA FOUNDATION

The word ‘AASHA’, meaning ‘Hope’, has its origins in Sanskrit. At AASHA Australia Foundation, we believe that our Seniors deserve the best. To help them achieve this, we strive to help Seniors from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Communities in general and Seniors from South Asian Communities in particular, achieve good physical and mental health and a good quality of life.
