All you need to know about Pisces
The zodiac sign Pisces, 19th February - 20th March, is ruled by the planet Neptune and naturally rules the 12th House. The Pisces symbol is the Two Fishes. Pisces Archetypes are the Mystic, the Dreamer, the Poet and the Face Dancer. Pisces has the Element of Water, and the polarity Yin, being more inward facing and feminine in energy. Pisces thrives when seeking experiences taking them outside the tangible world they live in, to simple 'awareness'. Happiest when taking a step back from reality - what we see, hear, touch, doesn't matter, there is life outside these experiences, if we can just let go of them. Einstein was a Piscean. Perhaps his theories and physics genius relied on his ability to step outside and dream, imagine and wonder.. then step back into a space where he could express those things scientifically and more tangibly.
Strengths and Challenges
Pisces knows the life we experience through our senses is a reality we create with our minds. We observe and gather information through our senses, name things and experiences using our brain, and that is 'life'. But there is more. Over, above and around this life, is consciousness. We may be able to escape the things we see, hear and feel etc, but we cannot escape our consciousness.
Pisces and Astrology
Pisces needs to let go of their everyday lives and spend some time 'outside'. Whether that be in dreams, imagination, meditation or even dissociation, that space is paramount to Pisces' wellbeing. Stepping outside ego, outside the need to label things and experiences, allows the Piscean to truly exude compassion and empathy. Without attachment to being recognised as a good person, they can truly be 'good' people. They find 'being in another's shoes', an easy transition.
However, living free from the effects of the tangible realities of life on earth, can be over indulged. There is a risk of getting lost in the rabbit hole. The challenge is to balance living outside ego, with directing life using the ego for good, in the world.
Have you ever met someone who seems completely detached from all ambitions and goals, and seems to be happy flitting from one job to another? That is Piscean energy unchecked. Addictions are a method of staying in the Piscean zone. Drowning out life with anything keeping you less aware of the flesh and blood reality of life. Less aware of hurt feelings. Whilst it is the energy of going 'somewhere else' in an abusive situation (dissociation), or to cope with shock, you cannot stay there forever.

Pisceans have big hearts, are kind, and make good friends. Their symbol of two fish swimming against each other is their life struggle. It means within them they have two opposing opinions. Usually their downfall is yours as well as they may play the victim and it can be portrayed as your fault. Can have addictive characteristics due to those opposing voices within them. Water signs have a tendency to be a little wishy-washy. To thrive they need to let go of all ego, follow a mystical and spiritual life, taking advantage of their psychic abilities.

A Pisces and a revolutionary pioneer, one of a kind and the founder of Apple. He had an extraordinary vision and made that vision come true. Just like a true Pisces would. His biological father was Syrian. His parents however were not allowed to marry, hence he was raised by others. He was the founder of the iTunes store, the Apple store and the iPhone 4S along with Siri in 2011. He was a digital genius!
Albert Einstein: 14th March, 1879
A Pisces who became known as ’the modern father of physics’. At a very young age Albert’s genius for maths was obvious. He too had an extraordinary mind which looked deep and far, without having to touch or feel his intuition. He went on to study in Zurich and later become a national. His passion for physics earned him a Nobel prize in 1921. A man with Pisces mind and in depth vision for things most of us just don’t get.

An amazing singer songwriter who went down a common Piscean road.. addictions. Drugs and booze!! Pisceans feel on a deep spiritual level way too much, and can be easily hurt. With the help of his loving strong wife he was pulled through those hard times. For years he gave the world beautiful country music filled with emotion, desire and loss.
Pisces Health
Pisces feel everything. They are at the end of the Zodiac ruled by the planet Neptune. So much water, so fluid, and a lot of sensitivity. Due to Pisces strong instincts and ability to walk into a room and feel everything, this can make them feel unwell instantly. Headaches or digestive issues if he or she isn’t comfortable.
Pisceans can easily become addicts to avoid feeling the things they feel. They really need to find a spiritual path or belief system to help them use their magic and intuition the right way. They have so much to offer. Main stream medicines don’t suit them and they can often react badly. They are much better off using herbal and nutritional remedies to fix their ailments.

Once they master that, all health problems will improve and happiness, love, and contentment will fill their lives.
