Safer Internet Day – 10 February 2026 ✨

Today we join millions around the world in recognising Safer Internet Day, a global movement uniting communities, schools, organisations and families across more than 180 countries to help create safer, kinder and more positive online spaces.

In Australia, the day is led by eSafety, encouraging all of us to start conversations, share tips, and take small everyday actions that build a better internet for everyone. esafety.gov.au

This year’s message is clear:

National day of mourning - 22 Jan
SydWest stands in solidarity with the communities affected by the tragic Bondi attack. We support the National Day of Mourning on 22 January and join with all Australians in honouring the lives lost. We hope this day of unity and remembrance brings strength, healing, and hope to those who need it most.
