I am fully qualified with a Diploma in Remedial Massage. I am also certified for Hot Stone Therapy and Pregnancy Massage. I am proud to be a member of the AMT (Association of Massage Therapists) and am fully insured. I am also registered for any health fund claims. It's been a while since I've had to make a post like this. Today I said goodbye to one of my dearest clients. 9 years of care, beginning with a referral from the physio to help him with an upcoming surgery. He'd never had massage before and walked in saying 'I don't think this will do anything, but I will give it a go.'

9 years of monthly massage later, I visited him in hospital only 4 days ago where we talked and agreed that our time together was always something we looked forward to. I saw him one last time tonight as he only just passed away.

He was highly intelligent, had a great sense of humour and always had a twinkle in his eye. I am going to miss him terribly. R.I.P 💐

Hello folks, I don't usually get political on my business page, however this affects me and more importantly, many of my clients.

As of October 3rd this year, new legislation has come forth which prevents remedial massage therapists from being able to support their NDIS funded clients. For me, this means having to cancel clients who have relied upon NDIS services to keep me visiting them and providing much needed support and care. I find this pretty devastating :(

My massage association (AMT) are petitioning to change this legislation. If you or someone you know uses NDIS services, I would encourage you to sign this petition and share it. Clients shouldn't miss out on pain relief, care and support. Have a read below and thanks for checking it out:

Remedial massage, a proven support under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), remains unfunded when provided by qualified remedial massage therapists. Currently, only AHPRA-registered practitioners are permitted to deliver remedial massage through the scheme, despite the fact that remedial massage therapists hold nationally-recognised diploma qualifications in their field. Given that remedial massage is recognised as an evidence-based support within the NDIS, it stands to reason that the professionals with the most relevant training and expertise should be allowed to deliver it. Expanding NDIS coverage to include qualified remedial massage therapists would enhance participant choice, access, and the quality of care.

Had an unexpected stint in hospital earlier this week thanks to the power of chronic migraine so had to reschedule many clients. Received these beautiful hydrangeas from one of those clients today - made my day 💜 love my clients

Well after a week away in NZ pedalling about 140km all up, I have returned to work to discover I am also fully booked for 2024! As usual there may be cancellations here and there so I shall continue to try and find you appts where possible.

I am also now taking appts for 2025 to get the year set up. Onwards and upwards thanks to you wonderful people - thank you so very much as always :)
