Australian Pancreatic Cancer Genome Initiative (APGI) Accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients

The APGI was formed to support Australia’s involvement with the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) and acquires high-quality biological samples and health information from Pancreatic Cancer patients across Australia. The APGI aims to comprehensively analyse the genomes, epigenomes and transcriptomes of 500 pancreatic tumours to identify novel genes in the development of pancreatic cancer.
