A recent study highlights increasing evidence suggesting that a high‐velocity, low‐amplitude (HVLA) thrust directed at a dysfunctional vertebral segment in people with subclinical spinal pain alters various neurophysiological measures, including somatosensory evoked potentials (SEPs).
This highlights the importance of specificity in receiving adjustments on subluxated segments only, these are the cause of patients problems and other areas feeling tender are often compensations.
