Why Unwinding Happens? 🤓

Over time, structural distortions in the body can cause muscles and connective tissues to tighten, shorten, or compensate in order to maintain balance and movement. These compensations often become deeply ingrained as the body tries to stabilize itself despite the underlying structural imbalance.

When an ABC correction restores the structure closer to its intended position, those compensatory patterns are no longer necessary. The body then begins to release the accumulated tension and reorganize itself around the corrected structure. This release and adjustment process is what practitioners refer to as unwinding.
