Easter symbolises hope, renewal and the promise of new beginnings. It is a time that encourages us to pause, to consider the values of compassion and forgiveness, and to appreciate the light that can follow even the most challenging moments.

Across our residential care communities, residents and staff came together to raise funds and awareness to help fight heart disease.

Staying active is an important part of heart health, which is why our staff jumped rope while residents kept the rhythm, drumming along on exercise balls. The shared energy brought plenty of laughter, smiles and connection throughout the day. Heart‑healthy snacks were also available, allowing everyone to refuel while enjoying the festivities.

Thank you to our incredible team members who generously took part in the jump rope fundraiser. Your enthusiasm and willingness to get involved made the experience especially meaningful for our residents.

A special thanks to those who donated to our fundraiser, ABCOE, PFD Food Services, and Morco Fresh, your generous donation of food for the community was delicious.

The people who use our services and our staff bring a wide range of traditions, stories and perspectives. Together, they create a place where everyone is valued and respected. This spirit of understanding and kindness is at the heart of how we care for one another every day.

We are especially proud of our multicultural team, whose compassion and cultural awareness help residents feel safe, understood, and connected to their identities. Their contribution strengthens our community and supports meaningful relationships across all cultures.

We had a wonderful time at the Camden Show this weekend.

The show is such a meaningful event for our community, made even more special thanks to the dedication of our staff and volunteers who help bring the Carrington spirit to life.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stalls and supported both Carrington and the Camden community. The show is a proud part of Camden’s identity, celebrating the agricultural roots and traditions that continue to shape our region.

Whether you stopped by for a scone, tried the Blaze Pods, entered our lucky draw, or simply said hello as you walked past, we appreciate you.

It is the final day of the Camden Show, and we would love to see you there.

Carrington is proud to be part of this special community event, and there is still plenty to enjoy before the Show wraps up.

Visit our stall near the Argyle Street entrance to meet our Customer Service and Recruitment teams. Whether you are curious about village living or exploring a future career with us, our team is ready for a friendly chat.

Heart Disease is a leading cause of death in Australia. The Heart Foundation’s vision is that heart health will be achievable by everyone in Australia by 2050, and we want to help.

Today, we honour the women who use our services and whose strength and experiences have paved the way for all of us. We celebrate the women who care for our families and communities, and the many women across the care sector whose dedication supports others every day.

We are especially proud of the incredible women within our Carrington Care team, and the women in leadership across the sector who guide with integrity and empathy. At Carrington, their leadership continues to strengthen our organisation and our community.
