We’re pleased to welcome Lucinda Scopelliti to the Next Gen Nurse Practitioners Conference 2026.

With 27 years’ experience in the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector, Lucinda has worked across inpatient withdrawal services, outpatient care, clinical leadership and advanced practice roles. Her career includes serving as a Nurse Unit Manager, Consultation Liaison CNC, and completing a Master of Nurse Practitioner.

Lucinda has worked in custodial settings, public health, and now delivers AOD care nationally through a private telehealth service. She has also represented the AOD sector at local, state and federal levels, advocating to strengthen access and outcomes in care.

Mark McLean is a Nurse Practitioner, Drug and Alcohol from South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.

Mark is an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner and accredited opioid treatment prescriber with extensive experience in advanced AOD practice. A strong advocate for evidence-based drug policy reform, he has supported long-term methadone maintenance patients to transition to safer, long-acting buprenorphine formulations, improving safety, stability and patient outcomes. Mark brings practical insight from the frontline of opioid treatment and policy-informed clinical care.
