APRIL is Parkinson's Awareness Month!

MLSP Speech Pathology is privileged to support people with Parkinson's disease. As speech pathologists, we understand the unique challenges that come with Parkinson's including speech, cognitive and swallowing difficulties. Through individual support and our group programs, our team is dedicated to helping individuals optimise their abilities, build confidence, and improve quality of life.

Throughout this month, our MLSP Team will be doing a number of free community presentations on Parkison's and how Speech Pathology can help. Keep an eye on our socials or contact us for details. :)

This month, let's all keep spreading awareness, offer support, and continue the conversation about Parkinson's. Together, we can make a difference.

April is Autism Acceptance Month with World Autism Awareness Day being celebrated on April 2nd.

The theme for 2025 is "Celebrate Differences," encouraging awareness, inclusion and acceptance of the unique and extraordinary qualities of autistic people.

More than 205,000 Australians are autistic and 1 in 4 Australians have a family member on the autism spectrum.

At MLSP, we're fortunate enough to support a large number of autistic clients in individual sessions or groups and thanks them for the joy they bring to us all. This month and every month MLSP celebrates you. 😃🎉🎉
