It breaks my heart a little to write this, but as conscious business owners, we have to look out for one another in the digital space.
Natural Therapy Marketing is deeply committed to sustainability. For every website I craft for my clients, I gift a tree planting through Tree-Nation’s Plant to Stop Poverty Project in Tanzania. It’s a project close to my heart because it doesn't just restore forests; it directly helps rural communities practice agroforestry to fight poverty and secure food and income. It is rooted in pure, life-changing integrity.
Which is why I was so saddened to see a recent update from the team at Tree-Nation.
Unfortunately, scammers have started using their name to create fake "tree earning" websites and sending deceptive DMs, essentially using the guise of climate action to trick people.
A quick heads-up from Tree-Nation:
"They are not us. We don't have a login that collects your phone number. We don't pay daily returns on seedlings. Our only site is tree-nation.com... No dashboard. No payouts. Just a tree, in a real place, planted by real people."
Why am I sharing this?
As therapists and holistic practitioners, your work is built entirely on trust, safety, and authentic connection. Digital spaces should mirror that safety, but unfortunately, there will always be those who try to exploit genuine good for their own gain.
Please stay vigilant whatever sustainability cause you support. Let’s keep our conscious community safe, informed, and protected. 💚
