St John NSW - Northern Beaches Division

Northern Beaches Division is a passionate group of volunteers that provide first aid services to loca We always welcome new members.

St John Ambulance (NSW) Northern Beaches Division is a passionate group of volunteers who meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening of the month at 7.15pm at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation in Narrabeen. We provide first aid services to a variety of events in the Manly, Warringah and Pittwater areas, as well as at several state events such as City2Surf, Oxfam and the Royal Easter Show to

name but a few. If you want to give back to the community, learn invaluable first aid skills and be part of a fabulous bunch of people, join us!

Would you know what to do if you encountered a medical emergency in a remote area?

St John Ambulance Northern Beaches Division was lucky to welcome a special guest speaker to teach us all about wilderness and exhibition medicine!

We learnt how to manage patients in a variety of settings including the extreme heat and cold, as well as all things creepy crawly.

It was a wonderful experience, and we thank our members of the local medical profession for giving up their time to help us grow and develop our clinical skills.

Last night at Northern Beaches Division, our trailing was conducted by one of our Peer Support Officers. We learnt about psychological first aid and helping people in crisis
