Australian Friends of MDA raises funds for Israel's only national medical emergency service.

For over 60 years, Australian Friends of Magen David Adom has supported the life-saving services provided by MDA Israel through fundraising activities and awareness programmes.

🩸 U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee Visits Magen David Adom National Headquarters

Ambassador Mike Huckabee and Mrs. Janet Huckabee visited Magen David Adom's National Headquarters in Ramla, accompanied by MDA Global President Gilad Erdan and Director-General Eli Bin.

During the visit, the Ambassador toured MDA's fortified Operations Center, specialized emergency vehicle fleet, the Marcus National Blood Services Center, and the Sussman Human Milk Bank. The visit concluded with both the Ambassador and Mrs. Huckabee donating blood.

Ambassador Huckabee:
"This organization shares one common goal: to save lives, regardless of religion, language, or nationality. That's what makes this organization so special."

MDA Global President Gilad Erdan:
"Magen David Adom is truly the backbone of Israel's resilience. While everyone else ran into shelters, our teams ran out to save lives."

Director-General Eli Bin:
"We owe tremendous gratitude to the United States for its unwavering support. The steadfast support of our American friends has given us the means to save lives."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu toured Magen David Adom's National Headquarters in Ramla today, visiting the underground Blood Bank, emergency dispatch center, and meeting with EMTs and volunteers who responded during Operation "Am K'Lavi - Rising Lion."
During his visit, Netanyahu met with MDA personnel who treated hundreds of casualties from Iranian missile attacks, including volunteer EMT Dalia Farihat, who saved a critically wounded 16-year-old with neck shrapnel, and Daniel Stein, who evacuated casualties after his own home was struck.
Prime Minister Netanyahu: "What you've done and continue to do is unmatched anywhere in the world. MDA is the best emergency service in the world—because of people like you. I want to express heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Government of Israel and the citizens of Israel."
MDA Global President Gilad Erdan: "While Israeli citizens run for shelter during Red Alert sirens—these extraordinary people run toward danger, not to hide, but to help and save lives."
The visit highlighted MDA's critical role during national emergencies, with teams providing lifesaving care under fire while risking their own safety to serve the people of Israel.

3 Women Killed in North Rocket Strike - MDA Treats 20 Others
MDA Spokesperson:
At 11:20 PM, Saturday, (local time) emergency dispatch received reports of rocket strike near residential building in Western Galilee.
Casualties:

3 women killed (2 pronounced dead at scene, 1 died at hospital)
10 patients with minor physical injuries
10 patients treated for anxiety

Response:
Large MDA forces, including mobile intensive care units and ambulances, were dispatched immediately. Teams operated under heavy destruction in a three-story building.
All injured were evacuated to Rambam, Bnei Zion, and Galilee Medical Center.
2 individuals from other northern locations were treated for mild shrapnel wounds.
MDA teams are providing medical cover during ongoing search operations in damaged buildings.
